If you read like 3 posts up, you'll see that me and one other also have this problem. GemX probably need to update some file. Its over my head so can't help you.

Well I read 3 posts up, and only 1 person was having the same error, but many others where it seems to work since they only have problems with VLC streaming and I don't even get that far.

    Hello,

i think you must copy the TV*.dll Files from MediaPortal Directory to MPWebServices\htdocs\Bin\ .
    Backup the old files first.

When my VLC will work i can now test this at home later.

    Best regards
    Mischa

Indeed you are correct. Now it works.

I have the version 1.0.4.24281 from MP. Any Ideas? Have you copy more than the TV*.dll's?

    And with

This seems more like a misconfiguration.

You used "...&profile=0" which is "direct streaming" without transcoding by default but the error points to the transcoder program not being found which typically ocures when you set the "use transcoding" checkbox but don't enter a valid path for the transcoder prog.

You are right, my mistake. Now it's working fine.

    Hello,

which VLC Plugin Version is working?

I have latest Version 1.0.3 and the Plugin says in the error log window from firefox:
Warnung: reference to undefined property vlc.playlist
    Quelldatei: http://localhost/VLCFirefox.htm?url=idChannel=150,idProfile=0&media=
    Zeile: 24
    Fehler: vlc.playlist is undefined
    Quelldatei: http://localhost/VLCFirefox.htm?url=idChannel=150,idProfile=0&media=
    Zeile: 24

With Version 0.9.6 from VLC i see the blank VLC Plugin Window but with the latest 1.0.3 i see nothing. With Version 0.9.9 is the same error. What is wrong?

    My problem was:
I have copy *.dll from vlc-player directory to the c:\windows\ directory because a tipp for an older version from vlc player plugin to work. i have delete this dlls and now work always fine.

    Thanks for your help.

    Mischa

I also have this problem. Updated my system from Vista 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit.
Now when I push the TV button it just gives this error:

The column notify in table Program does not exist.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: Gentle.Common.GentleException: The column notify in table Program does not exist.

Every other button works correctly. Hope you can help....

Don't know what you did, but on my system this fixed everything and it's working now.
