I personally, would much rather have seen this skin come to fruition then your other one.

Me too. But making skins is mucho grande work.
And there are still bits missing on the hexagon b4 its complete
and i want it perfect before i release it.
That said i have released the FXextended skin with psd
files free for download. And there are atleast carreno doing
some work on it. And when i feel like doing more work on it
i will do so.
I did promise a beta release of hexagon and that i did. i see alott of
other skin projects not beeing followed trough all the way. There is alotta of activity in the forum and im shure there are many who can help out.
So everyone can take that as a challange
As for the hexagon skin i have asked for input and help to finish it as perfect as it can be, but theres not alotta feedback on it. that is sad since i think with help from all the artist here it could be a great skin.

I am trying to get this skin that was created by butcherboy one year ago this week to work with 0.2... if I figure it out I will post it.
First of all I woud like to than "theboxhead" for his work and ideas... 8)
I'm new to MP and HTPC, but I thoght I will get it a try to continue on his work with FXextended...
But after some work I decided to I didn't like the dragon and gray that mutch, but continue with some of it... And as he stated:
"Evereyone is free to edit this skin as they like, so just go ahead "
And in my mind a thought a lot of people work on it out there... :?:
Anyway today I have about 90% of a beta skin working, I even thought I could post a screenshot here, but it seems it must be hosted somewhere else...

Looks like this skin got moved to the HTPC frontend XLOBBY and is getting finished up there. Look at this forum thread. It looks pretty good over there. Too bad it didn't get finished for the MediaPortal platform.

I don´t use mp but if my tweaking of this skin for xlobby can contribute in any way to get this finished here, I’m all glad.
Here you can download the layered png:s (I use fireworks and don’t know if you can import this file as a psd for Photoshop) Use it and tweak it as you like.
