Someone have said that the HDMI cable could be a problem?
    I really doubt it.

That is do exist cables that cannot transport 44.1 KHz while transporting 48 KHz perfectly?
Never heard of such a thing.

Well to exchange the cables is the only thing we don't tried...
If I'm right, this is almost certainly a waste of time/money.

Better to provide the log files that we're waiting for... ;)

Fanol. If your av gear can't handle bitstream 44.1 @5.1 then you need to not use bitstream.

There is no advantage to bitstreaming anyway if you use mpar or reclock as the audio renderer.

If you want 2 channel audio to be pcm 2.0 and 5.1 channel audio to be pcm 5.1 then use reclock as renderer.

I should re-have the machine in the week end (I've done it for a parent) and we'll collect all the logs then.

My AV supports AC3 @ 44.1 KHz as with my HTPC works perfectly!

Attached is the Mediaportal logs that IMHO is not reporting any error.

The thing that happens is that LAV Audio tries to connect to filter graph but suddenly is removed and so audio is played!

    @fanol
Thanks for providing the log files. However they contain only limited detail. Could you please collect new log files, and this time use the Watchdog tool with option 1 or 2 ("report a bug...") to do it. The Watchdog tool is the preferred method/source for collecting log files. Please use it whenever you can. General instructions for using the Watchdog tool:
    1. Close MP and MP Config.
    2. Open the Watchdog tool.
    3. Select option 1 or 2 then click proceed.
    4. Reproduce the problem. In this case, try to play "D:\no fear in love.avi" or any other file that has a problem.
    5. After the error has happened, close MP. This will trigger the Watchdog tool to collect the log files into a convenient zip file.
    6. Attach the zip file.

In addition to the Watchdog log files, please could you also provide screenshots showing your LAV audio and MediaPortal Audio Renderer settings. Those settings need to be checked for consistency.
