I'm in Italy.

The TV server doesn't find any analogue antenna channel with my Hauppauge WinTV HVR900 HD.
WinTV and Power cinema scanning find all of them.

By the way: where can I look at the list of the frequencies searched when I choose Italy in the analog scanner?

Hi I'm having the exact same problem.
WinTV and all other hauppauge programs work fine and give sharp image.
Doesn't find any analog channels.
When I manually enter a channel in TV server and click 'preview' I get: PreviewFailed:NoVideoAudioDetected

I had a similar issue but with a different card/tuner. The fix for me was to upgrade the latest SVN build of RC2. You may want to try RC3 now that it is out.

I'll try the newer version tonight.

However, I was able to preview the composite and S-video inputs through the TV-server.
Error only occurs when MP has to access the analog tuner.
I also read about a softmpeg decoder, but when I download this from the hauppauge website and try to install it, it tells me that no compatible hardware was detected while I have my HVR900 connected. Seems like there are numerous h/w versions of this tuner-stick, and I just have one which is not compatible with the softmpeg decoder.
I have to do more reading on this 'cause I think I'm confusing things. (like this softmpeg decoder, and the capturecard definitions which are apparently wrong)

However, If someone could point into the right direction.

I contacted the Hauppauge support and they said we don't need the MCE etc thing.

I tried the RC3 then but it didn't work all the same. Moreover, I had to revert to RC2 because I've not been able to make my ATI remote work with the RC3

I'm a newbie of MP: to install an SVN, am I supposed to have already installed all the previous before?

Which number is the one that worked for you, if you don't mind?

Yes you will need RC2 installed first (for all the other dependencies), but this is the revision I used and also there are instructions in the post here:

I think I have to try other capturecard definitions or something.
(and check some logs)

What I meant, was if I need to install the last but one snapshot (and all the previous too) before I can install the last one of if I can directly install the last one without having the older snapshots.

Oh yes you just need to install the single snapshot. No need to install all of the previous ones.
