    Hi,

    I have installed TVServer build 12903. When I press timeshift I get a No Audio/Video error. In the error log I see this message;
    Exception :confused:ystem.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

    I run the TVServer on MS Vista 32 bit.

    Previous releases from last week worked great for my setup. Is it something I'm doing wrong when I install a new TVServer build?

    I do this (I have the MP client, the client plugin and TV Server installed allready);
    1. Uninstall the TV server
    2. Uninstall the Client Plugin
    3. Install the latest MP SVN build.
    4. Install the new TV server build
    5. Install the new client Plugin build.
    6. Tries timeshift in TVServer program.

    I will attach the logfiles as soon as I'm back home again (currently at work).

    Thanks for any help on this matter.

    My bad. It looks like it was down to security settings on the mySql server folder. Found the solution after doing a google of the access fault. After resetting security on the mySql folder and all subfolders timeshift works like a charm.

    I seem to be having the same issue after I upgraded to 12903 12-13h version.

    when I check the Preview on the Server theres just a blank screen. I can see that the syustem is streaming but the client also shows a black screen and no audio.

    Please explain what you did to resolve this issue ?

    Cheers

    Well my problem was due to the fact that the permissions on the mySql server directory on my htpc was messed up. Your problem might have noting to do with this. As my htpc is on my protected home network I added the everyone group to the mysql directory and set it to full permission and removed all other groups form the security tab (will change this later on but it was a quick fix to see if my problem was due to persissions as suggested in a post I found on the Internet). The post I found suggested it was down to temporary files not being created due to access problems....basically the idea it to make sure the TVServer service and .Net has permissions to use the directory, but again this might have nothing todo with your problem.
