I've now tried the pinnacle media center, and TV works there.

Why does it not work in MP?

This happens when I try to watch TV :

You are going to have to roll up your sleeves and work out the problems. This will involve going throught the same process as adding a previously unsupported card to MP.

Please read the following:
Getting your H/W TVCard to be supported
Getting your Software Encoding Card to be supported
Add TVCard to natively supported list

First find the device ID (devid or moniker) of your capture filter. Search the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file for that devid (it will have "amp;" added to it) if you find a matching entry, take note of the filters listed for it. MP will be trying to buid a graph using those filters.

Next, while trying to configure the card in the Setup MediaPortal app, open GraphEdit and try to connect to a remote graph. If you get this far, post a screenshot of the graph.

Sounds like a lot of fun. :-(

What is a graph?

Is there a list some place I can find a list of supported hardware? I've just bought the tv-card. If I can't get it working, maybe I'll try changing it into something that is supported.

From the first link I directed you to
Ok, i got graphedit, now what?
Ok, here's what to do:
1. start graphedit
2. choose Graph->insert filters
3. In the list locate all filters for your TVcard
4. Insert each filter found for your TVcard
A filter is a driver for your card. If you look in the CaptureCadDefinitions.xml file, you will find an entry for the Pinnacle PCTV 100e. It has filters listed starting with the name "PCTV USB2 2821". Looking for these filters would be a good place to start.

I am trying this once more, but I am sorry, I really don't understand this. I hope someone can take the time and help me out.

I've downloaded graphedit.

1. start graphedit
2. choose Graph->insert filters
3. In the list locate all filters for your TVcard
4. Insert each filter found for your TVcard
5. copy & paste the 'filter name' & 'Filter Moniker' for each filter you found in a ms-word document
The filter moniker is shown on the bottom of the dialog when you select a filter
A filter moniker looks like this:
@device:cm:{4EFE2452-168A-11D1-BC76-00C04FB9453B}\Default MidiOut Device

Hmm.. ok... I'll try.

1. check.
2. check.
3. :confused:

This is what I find :

I -think- I shuld choose the "video capture sources" , is that right?

It looks like this :

filters3.jpg

Is this right? I really have no clue what to do next.

EDIT :

I am trying something here, but I am not sure if this is right.

Am I getting somewhere?

"opptak" means "capture"
"inn" means "in"

I've found the capturecarddefinitions.xml-file.

It is HERE
