You seem to be on the right track. But first, let me confirm a few things.

Your card seems to be recognized as a Pinnacle PCTV 100e, yet Mp says that no capture card is available? This seems odd.

What happens when you select the Pinnacle PCTV 100e and then select edit? Can you scan for channels?.

If you can, or if you get a "Unable To Create Graph" error. Open GraphEdit and connect to a remote graph. Post a screenshot of the graph.

If not, search the CaptureCardDefinitions file for your card. In GraphEdit, insert all of the filters that are listed in the CCD file. Now right click the output pin of the first filter (PCTV USB2 2821 TVTune) and connect the pins. Do this for all pins that you can. Post a screenshot of this graph.

Yes, that is right.

What do you mean "remote graph"?

I don't quite understand how to connect, and how they shuld be connected, but I'll give it a try.

I find the following "filter cat"s in the ccd-file : tvtuner , tvaudio , crossbar , capture , audcapure , videncoder, audencoder , mux .
Are this short for the filter names?

Is "tvtuner" = "tv-mottakerenheter for WDM-streaming" (shuld be tv-reciever device for WDM streaming in english)

Sadly, some of my filters are in norwegian.

what is WDM?

Try to delete the card. Exit the MP setup (maybe reboot) and then start MP set up. If this does not help, try uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. Make sure you have up-to-date drivers from the card's web site.

I am not sure how Media Portal handles drivers that are titled in languages other than english. This may be part of the problem.

That is a type of driver/filter. It usually is for analog tuner cards.

You may also want to try uninstalling and re-installing Media Portal. Before re-installing, make sure that you delete the existing Team-Media Portal folder in Program Files. Otherwise previous problems could be transfered to the new installation

Yes, these are the common names given to the filters so MP can create a graph with them.
What you want is the actual name of the filter, to the right, after "name".

Hello Frodes.
I have also a Pinnacle PCTV310e with same problem.
I toke a closer look at the website for supported TV cards (http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/Supported_TVCard_DVBt/PinnaclePCTV310eDVBT) and for our card I found this:

Pinnacle PCTV310e:works fine as DVB-T device (TV&ampRadio) to have it working for analog TV you can install (and then uninstall) the Intervideo WinnDVR 3.0 demo software (after uninstall it will leave the drivers installed on you PC) must select Intevideo audi codec in myTV settings

It worked for me, so I hope it will work for you. ;-)

Hello, and thank you for your post.

I've not had the time to look at this before now.

My card is not a pctv 310E, but a pctv 100E. Installing and uninstalling intervideo did not help.

I've tried looking at this, but I just don't have the time I need to figure out how this stuff is working.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem as well and I am totally lost. My card is not even listed on the add capture device page.

I checked those links you have out, and I have an older version of the ADS-Tech Instant TV Deluxe PCI (PTV-305). I have the ADS-Tech Instant TV PCI +FM.

Would those settings be compatible with each other?

:D

I have this exact same problem with an MSI TV @nywhere plus. I don't get any cards listed and if I press "add", it says "no cards found"...

I looked through the CCD.xml file and this card is listed there... I'm lost...

I tried manually adding the card via my hardware profile settings to see if it would be listed, and it does not appear. I've even changed my hardware profiles to different settings to see if it can be detected.

Still lost.
