Hi there, after a fresh Windows installation I got a big problem.

I'm now unable to scan my channels with TVE3. I don't know why because I do everything right and now have the 7th installation of Vista and got always the same problem!!!

I'm installed TVE3 RC1 and all what I get after scanning my channels is an error in the log. It seems that TVE is unable to get a DB-connection. I've tried all possible solutions, firewall on / off, ....

I'm using TVE3 RC1 and mySQL 5, because mssql have known bugs with Vista x64 and I could not installed this. With my old installation I'm able to scan all channnels, but now I'm not and I did not find the problem???

I've the logs attached, it seems like one service who is needed is not started, but I don't know which one. Please give me a request, I'm totally stressed :-( and I will not try an 8th Vista installation.

Vista x64 has heavy problems with drivers. So try Vista x32 instead, I'm quite sure that it will work.
64bit Windows and DVB is gambling.

That's could be, but I did not understand why it worked a few days ago with the same version of vista x64 and with all the same settings?!?

Only what I do is I'll changed the motherboard and the cpu and do a new installation and now nothing works...

The .dll is in the TVE3 folder and I got the same f*****g error with Vista x86 :-(

----
27.09.2007 14:14:35 5 RemoteControl: Error getting server Instance - Der angeforderte Dienst wurde nicht gefunden.
---

Do anyone know why TVE3 post this in the log, if I know what it means with "RemoteControl" and a missing windows service maybe I'll be able to find the problem. So, I did not know which service is missing...

oh, there's another error in x86 error log, sorry I could'nt attached this in editing of this post:

Okay, forget it ;-) I'm stupid...
