TV - HTPC Connection: DVI Hi there, after a fresh Windows installation I got a big problem. I'm now unable to scan my channels with TVE3. I don't know why because I do everything right and now have the 7th installation of Vista and got always the same problem!!! I'm installed TVE3 RC1 and all what I get after scanning my channels is an error in the log. It seems that TVE is unable to get a DB-connection. I've tried all possible solutions, firewall on / off, .... I'm using TVE3 RC1 and mySQL 5, because mssql have known bugs with Vista x64 and I could not installed this. With my old installation I'm able to scan all channnels, but now I'm not and I did not find the problem??? I've the logs attached, it seems like one service who is needed is not started, but I don't know which one. Please give me a request, I'm totally stressed :-( and I will not try an 8th Vista installation.
