Good evening all......

I have had this running all fine for quite a while. Since the introduction of the some new TV Channels in Australia, I am unable to get the DVB guide working for these channels. All the others are still working fine, but the new ones: 7Mate, Channel 31, ABC News are so far not playing nice.

Any thoughts out there?

I am assuming that my DVB EPG is setup correctly, otherwise the rest would not work?

I can confirm that on "Normal" TV's, the EPG for these channels are working fine.

I am getting Gem....but only becuase MediaPortal thinks it is still 9HD....no big issue for me, but would be interested to know what is going on?

anyone out there know?

Have you all performed rescans of your channels?

I live in Newcastle and have no issues with EPG with these new channels

yeah i rescanned 3 times now and still no difference.

TV Server Configuration --> DVB EPG --> TV EPG GRABBER, are the channels selected for EPG?

If so, try deleting them and rescanning

Tried what you suggested and it fixed 7mate but GEM and ABC News 24 still says no data available.

TV Server Configuration --> DVB EPG

Make sure both of the following are selected
- Always try to fill holes
- Always try to update existing entries

If that doesn't work,

Search for MPTail, which is a little app that streams the MP log files, open it, and go to the EPG tab. then follow the steps below and look for errors related to EPG Grabbing on these channels

TV Server Configuration --> MANUAL CONTROL

Select either channel and then click the REFRESH DVB EPG button

I just finished setting up a couple of MP machines and found that it takes quite a while for the EPG to populate completely - like 30 minutes or more. For a while I thought a couple of channels weren't being picked up but the data did eventually appear.

On an older machine I did rescan my channels and it didn't detect that NineHD has changed its name, but when I deleted all the channels and did another rescan the new names showed up.

did the re-scan and now i have 7mate and abc news 24, but GEM is still missing. the server has been on for a couple of hours now and when i check the manual control it says that its downloading epg but still doesn't show for GEM???
