No fullscreen screen saver when playing music (1 Viewer)

Im quite new new to MP and didnt know about the x key swithing between mini window and full screen ,
I started just pressing the live tv button twice cause found out that it did the same thing,
but now I know about the x key I'll use that

Uhm... could it be that you're mixing up "Screensaver" and "Visualisation" at the moment? Those are two very different things.

Maybe I am. Visualisation would be those nice moving colors and shapes that windows media player displays while you are playing a song, and screen saver starts when you stop using the PC for a certain time and shows some image or moving images right?

I would like to have the WMP visualisation shown fullscreen while listening to music, but if that's not possible I would settle with a screen saver poping in to prevent burn in, I just wouldn be happy if the screen saver starts while I'm watching a movie in fullscreen.

100% correct

The new BASS music engine can do that. You'd have to use a nightly SVN build or wait at least until the 0.2.0.5 (or 0.2.0.6, depending on how stable BASS is for everyone) patch release. It's still brand-new and not fully tested, that's why it's only available in nightly builds yet.

Since I have your attention, Do you know if the issue with fullscreen video and dvd playback will be fixed? You know, that you have to set the font size to normal, and/or start in window mode and then go to fullscreen and/or always set original aspect ratio, otherwise you get a black screen with sound.

I love the software but it's giving me a hard time with this. I ended up using Zoomplayer as an external player, but would love to have the small window on the bottom corner when I'm doing something else.

Next major release you mean? Could be 3 months, could be half a year, nobody knows.
You should try the forthcoming 0.2.0.5 patch. You'll notice it on the homepage when it's published. No computer woodoo needed for that.

Maybe the new skin engine will solve that. But that definately takes quite a long time until that is even in SVN.
