No guide data for some UK channels (1 Viewer)

I'm having problems with specific channels having no guide data (e.g. BBC1 London, BBC2 London, BBC3, BBC4, ITV1 London). Other channels are fine (e.g. Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV2, ITV3). I'm using XMLTV, with XMLTV GUI to grab the listings.
I thought that there may be a mismatch of channel names between XMLTV and the MP Channel listing, but they look OK to me. The only point of confusion is, when looking at the "Edit Channel" dialog box in MP, the channel name at the top is not the same as the name below it in "tuning details".

Can anyone suggest why some of the channels are not getting guide data downloaded?

You need to make sure they are mapped in the xmltv plugin. It sounds like you are just missing the mapping of the xmltv data to the channel

At a quick guess you have a space between BBC1 and London in the first picture and not in following photo's.

XMLTV mappings are below - they look correct to me?

I can confirm that there is a single space between "BBCn" and "London" in all the relevant places.

Is there anything else that I should check, or any other way of diagnosing this?

I think I may have discovered the problem...XMLTV GUI is configured to save its XML here:
C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xmltv\tvguide.xml
(which is correct)

But it is actually placing the file here:
C:\Users\Myusername\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xmltv\tvguide.

How can I get XML GUI to save the XML in the correct folder - the settings are correct, it just seems to be ignoring them?

It turns out that this isn't the only problem. If I manually copy the updated tvguide.xml file to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\xmltv\ I still get no guide data for the problem BBC/ITV channels. And that is definitely the folder that XMLTV is expecting to find it.

...and if I remove tvguide.xml altogether it also has no effect - i.e. I still get partially-populated Guide data. This suggests that it's pulling the guide data from somewhere else (i.e. perhaps it's not using XMLTV at all), but I have no idea where.
There's a section in my MP TV Config called "DVB EPG". Do I need any specific settings in here to get it to use the XMLTV data?

DVB EPG is grabbing from Freeview or Freesat and would overwrite any xmltv EPG you have loaded. If you are loading EPG data via xmltv then DVB EPG should be disabled.

First check is that your xmltv file actually contains data for BBC One. If it definately does then you need to upload your logs in debug mode of when xmltv is being grabbed

I'm not sure how to disable DVB EPG but now have my settings as per the screenshots below. I then re-imported the XMLTV data and checked that the XML contained programme data for the missing channels - it does. Still nothing showing up in the TV Guide though.
