No Items after a while. (1 Viewer)

I have a strange problem with this plugin, i've used the plugin now for a while now and now the strangest thing happend. Suddenly when i go to tv series i've got a page which displays No Item.

So i went to the config of tvseries and there my list of series is also empty, but i haven't changed anything. I've had this problem a while ago and then i've reinstalled the plugin but if this happens all the time i really want te know what is causing this bug.

Please help

I am having this issue as well. Anyone have any ideas? I shut down the PC today to install a different video card (actually same model card) but that didnt even change the video drivers.

Ok so I forgot that when I rebooted my Windows Home Server that i didnt re-connect my network mapped drives. Now it is fine. Such a simple mistake.

No one has an answer to this problem? It's no fun to install MyTV-Series plugin every week or so. Please can someone help me?

Strange is that in the config all the seasons are found but no series :|

    Hi R3CoN,
    I had similar problems, when the TV-SeriesDB is broken. You would find info about this when opening the Plugin or looking into the databases directory.
    How can this happen? Don't know, maybe if MP crashed or you use standby while the DB is updating and DB-records have not been comitted properly?
    I save my time by saving a copy of a working DB, that replaces the broken one, if I have issues.

    PS: Other possible reason: If your DB is too big, there is also issues when opening it. I heard, that you should not have more than 10000 episodes in the DB - sounds very much, but if you have just one physical episode and loading the whole series info, this could be already some hundreds of DB-records... maybe the developers can tell more about it?

    I am resurrecting this thread as I too have this problem from time to time. I had put it down to the fact that I am running my database on 2 clients from a network share, and apparently sql-lite does not like being accessed more than one at a time.

    My work-around has been to keep a copy of my database file handy so that when it happens I can delete the 'corrupted' file and start again from my last back-up.

    Has anyone got any other info or experiences with this issue? It only seems to have started happening recently for me (last 2 months or so), despite having been running the database on 2 clients for a lot longer.

    i have this problem too .... popped up a couple of days ago...
    tried emptying the db to start over, but it didnt help

    Did anyone ever solve this problem, Ive got it also - List seems to load (gets very laggy) then displays 'no items'

    You have a corrupt database, and the only way to fix it is to delete it and start fresh or restore a working copy. The TV-Series database is located in C:\Program Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Database

    I had this with the latest version. Every time the content is updated, the database seems empty. Tried a couple of times with a backup version of the database, but ended up installing an older version om MP TV series and I'm fine.

    I assume rebuilding the database from scratch will also fix the issue but I'm not ready for that yet...

    Will remove and re-install the plugin- I tried the empty command in the settings dialogue but still no good
    I'ts strange how the overlay tells me that I have new eps, the plug-in even asks me to validate episode entries ie skip, search etc
