Since about 2 or 3 days the cropping does nolonger work in normal TV-mode. It still works in zoom mode.
I can increase the number of pixels to crop but nothing happens in normal-mode.

    I will upload mediaportal.log.

Problem exactly since SVN revision 14683

The problem is not TVengine0.3 related, the problem is in non-TVengine0.3 SVN too.

Exactly since revision 14683 (from 05-22-2007) TV crop settings doesn't take effect in zoom mode "Normal". In other zoom modes (except "original source format" of course) the crop settings work.

Developers, please have a look at your changes since previous revision (14669 from 05-20-2007) where the crop settings worked.

    Thanks!

The problem is still in todays SVN (14807).
Is somebody working on this quite obvious bug?
I haven't found a mantis entry for that...

It's the changes in geometry.cs (revision 14671) to fix Mantis issue 1042 (MyVideos: Black Screen on some files in fullscreen Normal-Zoom-Mode) thats broken the cropping in normal mode.

    Hi,

can somebody confirm that the cropping is fixed with 0.2.3 RC1 and latest SVN?
I am still on 0.2.2 and I don't want to switch to the new version until this is fixed.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Andreas

    Hoi Andreas

No, there is no change yet.

It is probably not a problem for a lot of users, else we would have more posts here.
If you have a TV (with overscan) then there is probably no problem. If the aspect-ratio of the Monitor and tv-signal is the same, then you can use other zoom-modes like zoom or stretch (that have cropping working).
If your provider does not send "garbage" in the overscan-area then there is also no problem.

As I have mostly a 4:3-signal with "garbage" and a 16:10 LCD Monitor, I have a real problem and had to keep my "production-machine" on an older SVN-Version.

    Hi Bruno,

    thanks for your replay.
For me it is also a real problem because in Germany many providers such as RTL Group do send garbage and I do not like to zoom 4:3 material. Also, I use the native reslution of my TV, so there is no overscan.

I am hoping that the feature can be fixed easily because we seem to know when it broke.

    Best regards,

    Andreas

Crop doesn't work in Normal or Original. In other modes it's fine.
    Using Intervideo (windvd8) MPEG2 codec.
