No recorded tv thumbnails being made (1 Viewer)

Everytime I record a tv show and go to the recorded tv page there is never a thumbnail showing in the top left hand corner just a box with an x what could be the problem?
If you need logs just tell me which one to attach

Is this on the TV server or just on a network client computer?

Same here, but it is random - only seems to show one when it has been watched for me, which seems a bit pointless!

I have 11 current recordings and my thumbs folder is completely empty. Looks like mine just aren't being generated at all.

Is the files in question just mpeg files, working great here, so a couple of things to check, MP config you have tv thumbnails enabled, see bottom of screenshot.

Also attaching the latest mtn.exe and relevant files from the same folder, these go in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal or 64bit C:\Program FilesX86\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Hi, thanks for the suggestions, I have those files present and my options are the same as yours except I had ticked to keep a thumbnail in the recordings folder (I guess this is why yours is empty).

I've disabled that and will schedule a couple of recordings for whilst I'm at work and see how it goes.. I did find a thread yesterday about something simmilar to this and some guy had modified one of the dll's to use windows thumbs, but I was a bit reluctant to start swapping out dll's. I'll try and find that again as well.

The thumbnails are stored as hidden pictures so you have to enable in windows settings to show also hidden files. =)
