Hi
Nice to be here I just moved over from GB-PVR which I have been using now for about a year or two. I have been watching MP for quit a while now but just deceided to go ahead and try and move over
My configuration is quite simple with MP+SVN +TV3 on my HTPC and one Networked client PC with MP+SVN+TV3 Client.
The installation and configuration went quite well and almost trouble free. A few minor issues with Hebrew EPG but I was able to work around them but unfortunately I'm left with two open issues that I can't solve.
If I set a recording from EPG or start recording manually all looks fine. But no video file is saved to disk. I have the Recoding XML file in the correct folder but no video file. In the recordings playback und MY TV I have the entry of the recording but it will not play (there is no file.) Why is no file being created I have tried both .ts and .mpg and the same result. I must have missed something. Live (Timeshifting) works well and I’m able to view pause play no problems
The second problem if I understand correctly is common; the client PC is not able to play a stream without stuttering .I have tried different codecs but they all have the same result. Any ideas are welcome.
Jonxm
