No response to volume up and down (1 Viewer)

No that's not what it is. Actually as far as keyboard localization goes MP does the right thing since it's using VK and not scan codes.
I did remap the volume functions to other keys too but that did not help either.

What's odd is that using my remote I can still change the system volume since this is not going through MP. But before MP used to detect that system volume was being changed and display the OSD and now it won't.

Right. The scan vs key code was purely a thing out of despair

Let me see if I understand you correctly: changing volume via your (Imon-controled) remote is working and the volume bar OSD is displayed. AFAIK Imon is directly addressing the global Windows volume function and MePo is supposed to do the same.

I have a functional client installation here where volume control is set to "wave" and Audio goes through the MePo Audio Renderer. What are your Settings look like?

I tested that on a fresh install on another computer, same issue, no OSD.
No OSD is never working. Not with imon not through mp.
Volume adjustment is working with imon cause mp is not involved.
Volume adjustment through mp shortcut is not working.

I'm using BASS and Wave control.

I reinstalled MePo from scratch on a client tonight: volume OSD works as it should.

Did you verify that the option is activated in the configuration?

That's weird. Option is activated. Just did a fresh install again. Same issue.

Thanks Peter2. Though it seems to be a different problem. MP volume level is ok and 100% in the mixer.
My issue is that volume OSD just won't display anymore.

So it's not a sound issue, just the OSD?
In my case, the OSD was not showing either and I could not change the sound level which was set to a very low level.
Does your sound level change and if so, what are you controlling exactly with your remote in MePo?
Not that I know exactly what is going on, but since you can control wave or master volume and depending on the remote interaction with your HTPC, you might control the windows volume directly instead of through MePo.
Back then, I did check my windows settings and at first sight they seemed ok until @Vasilich pointed me to look further in the mixer settings.

I believe my RC controls the system volume as opposed to just the one for MP app.
OSD is not working and MP can't control the volume itself even if I hit the keyboard keys to adjust it.
Thanks for helping @Peter2 I'll double check the settings in mixers put I'm not quite sure which one I should be looking for.
I did check that MP volume was to the max.
