I've installed everything from scratch today, as shown in the Guidlines. But i can't scan for Channels, i get no signal at all!
When i use the bundled Cyberlink PowerCinema, everything is working perfect.
And yes, i checked the Cable.

What do i have to choose in the LNB-Selection? I've tried all "Band"-Settings without any luck.

I use the same dvb card, and it works well.
what lnb type do you use. This info in needed.

For a US dishpro, lnb settings, I choose legacy, check override box, lof1 11250, lof2 11250, sw 0. The tuning paramater files sometimes have more transponders listed to accomadate different sats.

Sorry, but i have nothing about the LNB. It's a standard european (or german) Quad LNB, had worked with all recievers i bought so far.
I don't think that there is a problem with the Values, cause i've tried every possible so far.
The Signal Quality and Signal level Bars showed nothing, as in the pic i attached.

Have you tried LOF1 = 9750 Switch = 11700 LOF2 = 10600. Hopefully, someone experienced with Astra will step up.
Do you use a disecq switch, make sure its set correct port A/A, none etc.

Thats exactly the values which i get, when i choose the first entry in the dropdown Menu.
I have no Disecq, so i don't activated it.

I am also having some problems finding channels. The WinTV software works fine and finds pretty much what I would expect but not sure of the settings for scanning with MP.

I have an OCTO LNB on my Skydish with two LNBs connected to the two NOVA cards in my PC. I am configuring just the first card. I assume I am not using DiSEqC so have this set to "None". The satellite are Astra 2A,2B, 2D, Eurobird. I have the LOF1 at 9750000 and LOF2 at 1060000 with an LNBSW of 1170000. These values came from the WinTV software which as I said worked okay.

I tried band KU-Linear and when I scan I see 100% strength but 0% quality and "No signal found" messages.

I tried other bands but not seen much success.

What settings do I have wrong? Any correctly configured users feedback greatly appreciated.

    Hi guys,

Same problem here on my side. I am using an external pinnacle pctv 400e dvb-s card and when I scan I see 100% strength but 0% quality and "No signal found" messages.
I have a dual lnb (monoblock) and have set diseqc to SingleA (Hotbird) and SingleB (Astra).
Has anybody found a solution for this problem yet?

    No Satellite Signal

I have the same problem - most transponders tell me "no signal" though other programs are tuning in fine.

edit: If I uncheck the "Enable S2 Tuning Features" all channels are found - even the HD ones...strange...

    Hi everybody,

I've managed to fix the problem on my side :).
My LNB setup in my STB and the original software which came with my Pinnacle PCTV DVB-S was Astra 19,2 LNB2 and Hotbird 13 LNB1. I've tried all different variations in the LNB setup within MP (but always resembling the above setup).
After a while I mistakenly clicked the wrong setup which ended up working
What I had to do was set Astra to AB and Hotbird to BB - don't ask me why, but it worked.
Maybe it helps one of you out there who has the same sort of trouble.
