Hi Guys
I have installed V.1.11 and everything seems to be working fine with the exception of the TV Server side. I get no sound when trying to watch TV however I do have sound when watching Onlinevideos, videos, and music.
I have installed and reinstalled MP several time to cure the fault (that would be the limits of my technical prowess)

The system wont let me upload a zip file I have attached the install file ( I don't know if that is useful)

Thanks in advance

    Hello

Actually, that is most likely to be a MediaPortal codec problem rather than a TV Server problem.

    That probably won't help. :)
If I were you I'd install the LAV codecs (package available in the MP Extension Installer), and then configure MP to use them:

The system wont let me upload a zip file I have attached the install file ( I don't know if that is useful)
No, that install file is not useful. I'm not sure why you're not able to upload the zip file... but that's pretty much what would be needed. Option 1 with the watchdog:

It looks like you're playing with the "preview" function in the TV Server configuration TV channels section. Preview is not indicative of behaviour in MediaPortal, because it doesn't enable you to specify which codecs are used. Therefore, if you want to test whether a channel is going to work, you're better off to just use MediaPortal.

Also, I can see you have the LAV codecs installed. However, they've only been configured for use with videos and Blu-Rays, and not with TV (or DVDs). To resolve this, please check your TV codec configuration in MediaPortal configuration as previously recommended.
