i was talking about device manager,yes right now i am checking all the options on the 2 machines

Also check your power settings in control panel and maybe have a look at the windows log to see if there is nothing concerning usb/the tuner.
Are you using the latest drivers for the tuner and have a look in device manager at the properties of the usb controllers whether there is a difference before and after standby - that is on the same machine.

which catalyst version? at my system, standby and tv only works with catalyst 9.8 or lower

I use version 10.04 but did you had the same problem as me?

I am using 10.6 and have the same problem. No TV after stand-by or hibernate. Sometimes MePo even crashes completely...
I will check the usb setting as well. Maybe it's just that simple.

Guys, is the catalyst software not for the vga card whereas this issue is about the tv-card?

i give up, i check both machines the setting are the same the only different the one is ion and the other that dont work is gigabyte. i dont know what else to do.

[When i boot my PC and start Mediaportal then I can start the TV-Service without a problem, make recordings and start a timer.
But if I activate the standby and then wake the pc up again I am not able to watch TV, start a recording or a timer. I always get the error "Unable to start graph". I'm also not able to start the preview in the TV-server configuration but after a reboot everything works fine again.

i didnt had the exactly same prob: i could start a timeshift or recording via tvserver, but couldnt start preview or tv inside mp.


if you get the recording in tvserver to start (check the recordings folder) than it could be an ati-driver prob.


(but i am really not sure, because people say that this prob was solved from ati with a higher driver version than 10.?)

will try new version (10.6 ) soon, then tell you...
