Until yesterday I used tvengine3-11-24-2007--01-37h--Rev16559 with the same SVN-build. With that configuration everything worked almost perfect. Yesterday I decided to upgrade server and client, and since then; -no TV on my Client PC. On the server PC the TV still works perfect, preview in TV-server as well as watching TV in MP. When turning on TV on the client, the screen just turns black for half a minute, and then gets back to the My TV main screen without error messages. Tried some different codecs with the same result. Also tried to reinstall MP. In VLC i get picture from the TV-server on the Client PC.

What could possible be wrong?

Once I got the error message "Connected to database, could not connect to TV server" or something like that.

    just in case...
did u remember to install client (SetupPlugin.msi) again after update? ;)

Check that your server is running. If u are running mssql, check that both SQL Server and SQL Server Browser has started!

    Setup Plugin: check!

    TV server running: check!

    SQL server running: check!

    SQL server browser running: check!

=non of the things mentioned above is wrong.

    More to check/try?

    Hi,
Vispen74, download & replace StreamingServer.dll in "Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server" Folder(remember to stop/kill TVServer first. Seems like a bug has sneaked in during filter movement.

    Regards
    Roy

I've just tried this and it solved my problem (On clicking TV-On it freezes the MediaPortal client).
Although the image is a bit stuttery...and oh, MediaPortal has just crashed and TVServer has taken up excessive amounts of RAM (ie 300mb and climbing).
Maybe not so fixed, but a step in the right direction.

I am using the SVN 18080 as later ones cause the program to crash when I try scanning for channels.

Workaround for problems with scanning channels:
Save the channel list from a warking SVN to file, then import the list in the latest SVN. Done, no need to scan for channels.
