No TV (1 Viewer)

Since 1.2 I have had no TV
I've been reading the posts of similar problems in the hope someone could find a solution but to no avail.

Symptoms:
(Avalon skin)
Open live TV - MP freezes up
Close MP - restart TV service - open the TV config util - all seems fine.
Close TV util - wait a while - open TV util - click the TV servers>>IP address>>DVB-S - config util freezes.
Restart TV service works again...

Please be gentle with me - this is all rocky territory for me
If you need more logs - give me guidance please...

Hi, can you start the debug mode of mp? start=>programs=>team mediaportal=>mediaportal debug mode
Then reproduce issue, if it locks ctrl+alt+del and remove process. Watchdog wil create a bugreport with logs, post them here.

One of the main things that came in regarding TV was the pause graph option found under edit TV card properties, you might have to change that to stop, see here how too.

Hi SpudR, same issues under debugmode?

If i am correct the tv server is allways trying card 7, did you try to disable all cards but one, the dvb-s?
I see signal=0 on all attempts

And minor problem with lcddriver in error.log

I have not disabled any of the cards - just removed the IPTV card (set the drop box to 0) - card ID 7 is my DVB-S card.
I'll remove the MPTV bit and reinstall (again), this should give me the default settings back and I'll play from there...

Not sure what the problem with the LCD driver is - I did try the new version on my previous setup, but this was a clean 1.2.1.0 install.

I'll let you know my results

Hi SpudR, why reinstall, just disable all other cards by checkbox option and give dvb-s card high prio. Use only dvb-s card to test TV part and go from there.

Tried that - no joy - the TV service just keeps on sticking.
I'm just reinstalling now...
