Try changing the sourcepin numbers on the bottom of your file. It looks as some of them may be incorrect. I'm no expert at this, so I'm only guessing.

I think you need to use the pin number on the filter that is referred to as "sourcefilter". So, if the sourcefilter is the crossbar, use those pins.

I was hoping that someone with a bit more experience in this setup would chime in and fill in where my knowledge drops off. A graph picture of a working analog card, and the corresponding CaptureCardDefinitions file entry, would be helpful.

Without further help, you will just have to experiment more (alot) until you get something that will work.

I did notice something in your graph. The Tv Walker Lite filter has the number 0005 in it. I think that this is left over from when you had duplicate filters. You may want to start over and create a totally new graph, as you are now as much an expert at it as I am. :)

Hi Paul

I think i will give up until someone else makes a definition for the TV Walker Lite tuner (analog).
I think i have tried everything - but without any luck.

Unfortunaty i can see, that im not the only one in this forum having trouble adding a new TV capture card to Media Portal.

Thanks for all your help - it has been very usefule for me to learn more about Media Portal and my TV Tuner Card.

I'm sorry that you were not successful in getting your card to work.

You may want to try the TV Server beta. I have not yet tried it because my system is working OK. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. In your case it is "broke", so trying the TV Server is the next logical step.

I think that I have an idea for you to try. In another link, dman said to install mpeg encoders:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?t=9452

The CaptureCardDefinitions entry that I created lists the HT MPEG Multiplexer (and Audio Encoder) If you don't have these installed, it's not going to work.

I found a download for a HT MPEG encoder. You can try it if you want:
http://www.regnow.com/softsell/visi.../english/shareware/htencoder70proshareeng.exe

Here is the HT Encoder home page:
http://www.honestech.com/main/mpeg_encoder_70_pro_author.asp?path=Graphics & Video

Otherwise, look for the MPEG encoder that is installed in your machine (in the graph filters) and substitute it for the HT encoder in the CaptureCard Definitions file. You can use the one that dman suggests, just alter the file to reflect it.
