Hello

I have a problem with my win tv pvr250 hauppauge tv card. When I make a channel look up, I find all channels available in a high video qualitiy. Unfortunately, there is no sound.
When I try to make it work with the wintv hauppauge application it works properly with sound. When I make it work with win tv : no sound.
The problem happens for a long time as it already happened with the former version of win tv (without the tv server).

I noticed that the codec used by the win tv 2000 application is wav, this one, I cannot select in the media portal configuration application. Is there anything special to do ?

I also noticed that a fine tuning is available on the win tv2000 application allowing to switch to a final chanel that have sound. This is not possible with the tv server. Is there anything to fix this ?

I also intalled other Media Centers, and the sound is not there too.

Should I install a specific codec ? a specific add on ?

I spent many days (or month) on this problem, even using the french forum, without sucess. So, I try to get a chance on this forum.

THanks in advance

I must add that I once Installed another HTPC to find out where the probleme came from, and this was the only one that offered the fine tuning once the channels were found (I don't remember the name of this HTPC). On this one, the sound came up with the fine tuning. This may be a good hint I think. Thanks
