It seems my Hauppuage WinPVR USB2 is operating at a lower resolution after moving to 1.0 RC1 /TV server.
I see no way to change capture resolution ?!? - where is it?
TV looks pretty bad with currect resolution, I guess it's using 352x288

    Also:
TV playback in MP 1.0RC1 adds some black left+right borders to the captured video, I'd like to trim off 5-15 pixels at each end, that was possible before...

    Hi,
First of all stop cross-posting posts about same prob & second this it's not a bug since the capture size it's a future request.
Some cards can use the capture size tool which is in latest SVN & since you use a analog card you also need the updated TsReader.ax from Ambass in that thread.
In TV-Server Configuration -> TV Servers -> your comp -> your card -> quality control tab you can test if it is supported, if it's not to bad & you have to wait.

Crop settings it's set in MediaPortal Gui -> MyTV -> start a channel -> fullscreen -> info + crop.

    Regards
    Roy

sorry for cross posting, I did not knew I even did it, MP is the one, and only system in my home, there is no "tv" no "radio", no "DVD" or CD-player, - problems with MP makes my girl angry at me (go figure) :)
-I was forced away from stable 0.2.3 to 1.0.RC1 because I needed FireDTV.S2 to work.

Some cards can use the capture size tool which is in latest SVN & since you use a analog card you also need the updated TsReader.ax from Ambass in that thread.

    (I run the mediaportal-svn-05-23-2008--22-51-Rev19158.rar )
-had trouble finding "TsReader.ax" - do I already have it ?

In TV-Server Configuration -> TV Servers -> your comp -> your card -> quality control tab you can test if it is supported, if it's not to bad & you have to wait.

Quality control tab is there, but all controls are disabled.

Crop settings it's set in MediaPortal Gui -> MyTV -> start a channel -> fullscreen -> info + crop.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
For the quality controll, click check. if nothing shows up then it can't be used for your card.

mediaportal-svn-05-23-2008--22-51-Rev19158.rar <-- doesn't need the new TsReader cause the changes which breakes analog it's with latest(from yesterday).

The controls are only enabled when you hit the check button and the TvServer supports quality control for you card.

Hauppauge WinPVR USB2 was not supported.

-I am not completely sure I am running lower resolution anymore, and no logs contain this information. - It can prove to be only psychological affect of comparing to digital TV source.
