No weather for a while in CVS? (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

Occasionally I like to install a new CVS to see the changes, and see how things have improved, and to be able to test this and give feedback towards the developers.

But for the past few weeks I have been trying out CVS's and for all of them the weather seems to be non-functional. The page simply does not come up.

Each time I begin with a fresh RC1 install, config it, start it up to check, close down, unpack new CVS over original files, run start.bat, run configure to set new options. But same story. The TV speed increased a lot however, good work there!

But I havent seen anyone else noticing this on the forum, so I begin to wonder if others simply dont mind this working or not. We LOVE it here, hence we see it as a critical function that determines if we keep that CVS or not.

Anyway, just wondering wether it is something only happening here, in which case I have some serious digging to do to find the reason for this behaviour, as I start with fresh installs ...

And I havent filled in the entire template as I thought it wasnt relevant in this case, slap me hard if its otherwise, lol (I might like that!)

    Hi,

weather works here on 0.2RC1 with CVS 11-16-2005. Something noticeable in the log files?

    - start MP
    - start My Weather
    - stop MP
    - take a look into /MediaPortal/logs/mediaportal.log

    Hi ronilse,

Apparently it isnt the only skin who has then :)

I shouldve thought of this before... I reckon BlueTwo will always be the skin that is most 'up to date' as it is the deafult skin.

    Stupid me ;)

    Thanks guys :)
