MP Tv-server returns "No channels found" when I try to search. Manual tunning tuning seems not to work neither.

The tv-tuner and cable-connection is working correct with the software that was bundled with the tv-tuner.

Logs files are attached, let me know if some more information is needed.

Best regards

Thanks for quick and clarifying answer.

Do anyone know if I should expect to find a compatible "audio compressor filter" bundled with Terratec HTC USB XS?

The link suggest 3 commercial products; DVR3 is not longer availble and the two other is relatively expensive.

Any other solutions?

Hi!

I've MSI Media Live Barbone PC and I bought a Leadtek WinFast DTV1800 H hybrid tuner card. Lot's of software tested but the MediaPortal contains of the best features. I tested this TV tuner in the MediaPortal TV server. The software found that I have DVB-T and Analog tuner. Unfortunately, in our country no DVB-T at this time. Only the analog cable or antenne available. I tested analog capabilities of this card (with MP TV Server) but when I click to search channel, the MP nothing to found.

I have hardware, so I can test everything that you advise me, especially the analog capabilities.

So please write me how can I help you to improve the Media Portal TV tuner support.

Thanks, P.

Seems like there was some issue related to the tuner-software. After re-installation of bundled software, another error occured but I am still not able to search channels:

I have now downloaded and installed a trial of PowerDVD, which seems to be the replacement for CyberLink MPEG Video Encoder. The result is still the, now channels and "No audio compressor filter found" in error.log.

PDVD8 is a decoder software with player, afaik there are no encoders supplied with it.

Search the internet for WinDVR 3, this program will supply you with the necessary encoder filters, yes you are right, these software encoding cards are a pain to setup.

    Hi,

I also struggled with getting the tv channels to work again on my complete reinstalled HTPC!

Running the dvbfix again turned out to be my solution!

Hope it helps some of you!

    Cheers,
    Robbert
