Hi guys,
Something I have noticed for for the last few issues of MP (actually since I can remember), I have MePo configured to launch live full screen TV (single seat setup), but there is a pause/hang for 4 - 5 seconds before it is first displayed (this manifests itself as a blank blue screen when using Blue3Wide). I appreciate the graph has to be initially build, but I'm wondering what is causing such a delay?
The TV log states DoSetChannelStates takes 4 - 5 seconds, so I think it is this?
2010-11-23 19:47:19.213134 [Channel state thread(28)]: ChannelStates.DoSetChannelStates took 5572 msec
I use a channel group which contains just the specific channels I watch (ie I only watch ~130 channels out of a possible 800), I believe the DoSetChannelStates is processing all the channels hence the delay. But what is it doing? Is it possible to speed things up/not do what ever it is doing (without deleting all the extra channels I don't watch?)?
Thanks,
J.
