Either just before or just after I upgraded to RC1 I stopped getting any EPG data on my Mediaportal install. Hoping it would correct itself I just let it be. I used the Scandinavian epgservice application to download XMLTV data and used the built in xmltv plugin to grab the data from the downloaded xml. I tried doing manual imports several time with no sucess, and I checked the data was in the xml wich it was. I also tried just using DVBC EPG and still no EPG.
So now after RC2 I decided to uninstall everything copleteley remove all remnants of MP data, folders and registry data and start over. And even on a fresh install with CybrDisplay as the only extra plugin installed, No success. No EPG from DVBC, nothing imported from XML. Well it imports to the xmltv plguin fine and I can map the channels fine, but Mediaportal just displays "No Data Available" across the board in the EPG. I checked the "program" table in the database, and there's absolutely no data in there, just one row with NULL data.
Possily related after RC2 I also have issues with the tvservice apparently locking up. If I have watched TV before or activated it in TVServer setup it'll lock up the next time you try to use it. and I have to kill the actual process, as the service won't actually stop, but hangs on "stopping"
Currently I only have it set to grab data for Discovery, on all languages, an dI have all the options under general settings and EPG enabled so it'll grab when timeshifting and refill data to make sure it actually tries to grab something. and xmltv plugin is disabled, so I only have one epg fucntion trying.
Attached are the TV and EPG logfiles after starting tv service, starting MP and watching Discovery.
