sorry, that's not what I tried to say over there What I meant is that I could add support to mpnzb for mpnotificationbar. I just need to understand where the notifications you want come from and how to forward them to mpnzb!

GetWell might add some growl functionality in the future which will give you the ability to send sb, sabnzb and so on notifications into mp.
Until then you can have a look at Growl with Visor display, it will give you what you want...

Hm i know, and now i use growl, but I want as little as possible to install other software on my HTPC.

This is purely growl.

Yes I think so, at least in the first step. I understand that you don't want more other software on your machine. I try to follow this principle too...
But I think it will be much easier to get a working solution for many external tools like sb, sab, cp... over growl.
On the long run I agree with you that it would be nice to have some kind of open interface which could be addressed from other software in general as
it happens for xbmc in a lot of cases....

This plugin or similar can be added in future MP for display notification ?

example :
- DRR change notification , no needed to have big dialog text (as Titan skins)
- Recording notification " REC start - Channel XX - Program "

Have skin related to plugin for show history of the 10 last recent events. + setting ( times of notifications / ... )

@GetWell : you don't want continue your plugin developement ?
