I'm new to MediaPortal. Just setting it up now.
I see that ATI MPEG Encoder is supported. Any work on getting an nVidia Cuda codec supported? something that could support any PC with an nvidia card?

The LAV codec has built in CUDA support.
You've to enable it in the LAV Video configuration

You could try using the UNC paths for the timeshift and record folders. On the client machine go to MediaPortal configuration - TV/Radio - Advanced Options tick the UNC paths tick box and put the network paths for timeshift and record folders in the appropriate lines and click OK.

Perhaps it’s good to look here for WMC skin. In the wiki you find also further infos about setting up the media views. For further discussion it’s better to open another thread. I’ll mark the EPG topic as solved.
