Using the 13/06/07 SVN for both TV-Server & MP Client, having scanned for channels, I'm missing a few freeview channels such as Five, Five Life, etc. & instead get the following oddly numbered channels as shown in the attached screenshot...

What are these channels & why can I not get other freeview channels I managed to get in older builds?

My system spec can be viewed under 'My System' & TV-Server logs have been attached :).

I reported the exact code that broke scanning and caused this bug over 4 months ago, many others have reported it too.

original bug report:-

Basically the code added in svn rev 12899 needs to be reverted as it broke scanning, then subsequent code attempts to fix it making it worse, I'd roll the whole file back to 12898 and be done with it. The module doesn't compile under vs2005 either so...

This may or may not work.. but it's worth a shot. We NA users need to do this and it might be the same for the sat you guys are hitting. Turn up your PMT and SDT/VCT under general settings. Defaul is 10/20 but I usually turn it up to 30/60 and for the most part, that fixes the problem. Some sats have all that info in a master table and it only gets broadcasted ever so often. While you are scanning and you are not in that window, it will just display the hex names. It just needs to scan a little longer on each transponder.

Give it a try... it can't hurt anything.
