"Looks" like a hotfix version is in the making... MP 1.7.1... so maybe wait until this version is out before creating MPEI?

As long as the plugin doesn't touch any BASS SubsystemVersions, it should still be compatible.

I've just upgraded to 1.7.1 and the extension installer marks InfoService as incompatible...but it seems to work fine.

If you use StreamedMP as you're default skin you'll get 1.7.3 with the installation of StreamedMP 3.0... otherwise you have to keep begging

This is indeed a good point! But I understood that an MPEI is available through StreamedMP skin...so I was wondering why not having it also in the MediaPortal Extension Manager. May be the author "green flag" is needed.
