AW: "Old" screen after resume from standby

Hi glenn 1990,
that's what I assumed also here:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ivity-necessary-quickly-resum-standby-100488/
Maybe it's a combination of several "waiters"...

I will try to test it this evening, when back from work and my girlfriend is giving me some minutes on the HTPC...
I can also confirm, that the time from restarting the PC untill active screen is something like 12-13 seconds (MP1.2final standard + TV + FanartHandler + other plugins (no LatestMediaPlugin))

And glenn 1990 as you mentioned, maybe the TV-Part is the problem, because the MP at my friends HTPC (see Post #1) doesn't use the TV part... So there are more and more hints, that the TV part of MP could be the problem here.
Has the TV-Server a log file? I will look for it and see, if there are messages in the first "waiting" 12-13 seconds...

See you later
C

EDIT: Found some minutes to check different setting, but no consistent picture. Disableing TV-plugin in MP doesn't seem to help. One suspect (regarding the logs) seem to be the FanartHandler. There is some activity in the "frozen" periode...
More checking tomorrow or at the weekend.
Good night!

AW: "Old" screen after resume from standby

well, i have had this problem not first since mp1.2rc and final.
it also ocured in mp1.1.3 and maybe even bevor.
so its a long time there.
in my case its also not 12-13 secounds (wich would very disturb me).
i have to wait 4-5 secounds till the screen refreshes.
the problem also ocured with my old skin aeon-wide, wich has no plugins like fanart and stuff.
i also not use 4therecord.
now i use a different skin becouse of changes in mp1.2: streamed-mp.
streamed-mp brings plugins like fanart with it and i still have this old-screen problem.
but as reason of my experiences with this problem, i don t think that fanart-plugin is responsible for it.
it would be nice, if anyone could solve it.

best regards
parkuhr

Please check if the settings in tvserver impact this behaviour:
PowerScheduler -> "Reinitialize service after wakeup"
General -> "Delay in seconds before TVServer detect cards"

Thanks but I'm not using MP TVserver but 4TR.. But there is such an option for 4TR aswell, so will try to play with those settings.. :)
