If you are willing to have a look at the XML files, you can fix this yourself. Open videoOSD.xml of your preferred skin (default c:\Program Files\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\skins\BlueTwo\) and start commenting out whole blocks by adding <!-- before a <control> and --> after a </control>.

A suggestion might be to only leave the section with <import>common.progressbar.xml</import> and remove all the rest and see if that comes close to what you want.

I bought an HTPC case for about 150 dollars CAD that came with a VFD display. The VFD display it has in it can be bought separately for about 40-50 bucks CAD. It also makes it nice being able to browse internet radio stations, analog radio stations and mp3s without having to turn on the TV. I get a display of HDD space left/used thats used for recordings, what tv channel its currently on as well as what show is currently playing. AS well as time left in a recording or movie.

My only complaint is I wish it were a little bit brighter than what it is but.....
