I have 2 problems with One Button. It will often close Mediaportal when activated by pressing play on the home screen. I had it set up to select 2000 songs and 100 albums randomly which I've now throttled back to 500 songs. This seems to have fixed the random cloise but I still have another issue. Whe selecting My Tv whilst One button is running- it will try and switch and hang the TV server- forcing a close and restart. Logs in next post

Is One Button 1.9 fully compatible with MP1.1.0.0? Are playlist settings likely to affect it

Hers the log I generated for the issue- had watchdog in the background. I have confirmed that with the plugin disabled MP works fine

well nothing has changed since more than a year in playlist handling.
So there shouldn't be any side effects.

Currently travelling. Will have a look at the logs, when i'm on my dev machine.

Thanks heaps. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the old plugin installer with a boot in between. It is intermittent but will usually fail on the 2nd or 3rd switch

What threw me was that at first I thought it was a TV server issue - as it happens on selecting MyTV. But I suspect its the way One Button exits that causes the issue- the track playing window will freeze.

I'm working around it currently by making a playlist of everything and shuffling every time I open my music - via remote macro. No way of updating the playlist automatically though so not great

unfortunately the logs don't tell me too much.
i even cn't see OneButton being invoked.
Could you set logging level to debug and reproduce.

i will try this evening myself on my htpc to see if it shows the same thing.

Play My Tv- crashed here. It just locks up

I had to go to task manager and kill MP. The debug program then wrote the logs as expected

Please note- there's something screwy here as It does NOT seem to do this via simple keystrokes - but does it only via the Harmony remote. The harmony remote is only sending the commands above. I've even tried a long delay between keys to make sure it was not too fast. I even programmed a special "activity" so that only MP MCE commands were being sent and ignored the other devices the remote controls

Finally I just used the media Center device setting via the remote- no macros and only MCE commands are sent. Did these steps manually via the remote and the log is the result- along with the crash

Finally- just to confirm when I disable One Buton and play music via a playlist- the problem does not occur and the remote works perfectly

Well yes, i have a crash, but it looks a bit different than yours.
For me MP simply aborts. i don't have any hang on TV Server.

But i have this error only, if i do the following:
Start MP
My TV
Home <-- Current TV is shown minimized on Home
Play <-- Crash

When i press Stop to terminate TV, then no crash happens.

The crash however is not related to OneButton. I just call he Player to Play the playlist.
So it is somehow related to the TV Client plugin.
Need to talk to the TV Guys about that.

Ok, let's try something.
I'll see, if a player is playing and stop it before issuing the Play command from OneButton.
Try the attached version and let me know.
