No, the way it works is you cannot go down in hierarchies (series-season-episode). You can, however, go up, such as querying a field of series (such as network) to appear for episodes. The only exception to this is UnwatchedItems, which works downwards (at least it should work, havent really tried).

On a general note, I'm making progress on user-definable views. The configuration is a pain to do and I've had to rewrite quite a bit of code, but it should work relatively soon. One more feature thats coming is translations for all strings inside MP (not the configuration). Currently English, German and French are ready.

Ive been using the newer tvshow plugin for a day and bit now

heres some of my thoughts on it

view unseen shows
i think it would be better if it shows just the unseen episodes and not all the episodes in a series

view by genre
it would be good if it a show could be in more than one catagory

eg
Eureka is classed as drama science-fiction and it the only show i have with that genre. It would be better if it was in both science fiction and drama.

Every thing else im happy with

Yup, will be possible to configure.

Certainly possible (well, not in this testbuild) and I agree much needed but I have this working nicely. In your example Eureka would (and will) show up both under drama and science-fiction.

first of all, i REALY love that plugin!!!!

i have only one problem:
The first time i enter TVSeries -> nothing has focus
so i have to press "down" one time to get the first item in the list focused/selected
