You loose your episodes? I'm using the exact same build and for me it works perfectly, I even havent seen the spinning wheel of death yet.

Please check the setting regarding "show episodes with local files only" as I changed the view handling regarding this setting a bit. Do you have this setting on? Is it hiding episodes (and thus groups/series/season) that it shouldnt with respect to that setting? Does turning the option of bring back those items?

    Thanks for your feedback

Don't know if it's a MP (MediaPortal-svn--03-31-2007--01-01-Rev13718) , or MyTVSeries problem, but I've just installed version 0.9.5a, but since then I can't go to the plugins options in the configuration because I get a "JIT crash"

The log mentions "MediaInfo.dll has a bad image format", but I dont really think thats the problem.

"MediaInfo.dll has a bad image format" is not the problem, MP tries to load it as a plugin but its not obviously. But that doesn't harm it in any way and certainly doesn't cause a crash.

I can't see from the log why it crashes. I assume you have tried without tvseries installed and it still crashes? I put my money on an problem with that specific svn.

I turned the local files only on and the episodes came back, but, no banners. Switched back to show all episodes and the they all disappesred again except under latest. The spinning wheel of death, as you put it, is still with me. Anything else you'de like me to try? I'm using the latest SVN and Replicant 1.0.5.
I'm going to swith to B2 wide and see what happens.

I just tryed 0.9.5a and I have found a few bugs.

The newest series banner chosen by defult where as before it was the newest graphical banner and if there wasnt one the newest text one was used.

Doing a online refresh resets all the banners to the newest ones even if you have chosen one.

Apart from those 2 things it seems really good.

FWIW, I did a complete reinstall of MP, using latest SVN, and all is well. Seems to have fixed all my problem. Sorry for the bother. :)

Thats interesting because I changed absolutely nothing in the banner logic. But it should be easy to fix.

Thats great, can someone confirm? FYI I think it had something to do with the animation control always getting activated after coming from any other screen, such as fullscreen. Am I right that when it reappeared in older versions that had the problem it was always immediatly on after playing an episode and then wouldnt go away anymore?

Man, I am so sorry. I did some messing around with settings,,,,again. I should learn not to mess with what works. Anyway, when I set the filter to show all episodes even if not on HDD, that's when my episodes disappear. If I leave it as just show episodes with files, it works fine. Sorry, and I hope it's just my setup, that's why I did a complete reinstall. :(

Don't worry about it. But from what I gather the problem is not solved?

Let me outline what should happen.
Scenario: you have two series, lets say The Simpsons and Lost. Your simpsons episodes are not on the hdd except for one episodes (lets say 1x01), maybe you selected to download info for the entire series. All your lost episodes are available on hdd.

Now, with the option "show only episodes with a local reference" you should see BOTH series, but if you enter the simpsons you should see only your pilot episodes (it would skip the season display even). If you enter Lost you would see all your seasons and episodes. Furthermore, if you have zero Simpsons episodes on your hdd, you would not even see the simpsons as a series.

If that option is off, you would see all seasons of the simpsons and all your lost episodes.

Is that not what is happening?

If I understand you correctly, for you, with the above option set to off (meaning show all episodes) you don't get any series/episodes except when in the "latest" view. Basically you don't get any series to choose from, correct? Are your series available on hdd or not? Please check the db field "haslocalfiles" for one of those series, then one of the seasons and then also check the episodefilename field for one of the dissapearing episodes. Please report back to me with those. If you don't know how to do that pls ping me back and I'll step you through it.

    Thnx
