Hmm, I see whats happening, easy fix. I didn't even know there was this new type of banner. The way its currenty is it prefers non-text banners, which includes graphical and (new) blank ones.

I wonder what blank banners are for anyways?

Regarding the other logos not showing anymore. Can you check if it moved your banners (the files themselves) into the new directory under mp/thumbs (or whatever you have your thumbs dir set to) and also if you have absolute or relative banners paths in your database? It seems sometimes it stored absolute paths in the db. I have changed this so in the future it should always store relative paths, but the problem obviously is the upgrade process.

I'd like to make the upgrade as painless as possible for the next stable build but I need feedback.

The loading splash screen in the config is buggy....i just threw that together real quick and didn't pay any attention to it anymore afterwards. I'll probably just get rid of it again.

There are two answers to that.

The first one is yes, sure, its just a skin issue. you can make your thumbs as large or as small as you want and place them anywhere.

The second is, yes, but only if no logos are to be displayed for the selected item. Reason being that the episode thumbnail, from a skinners perspective, is just another logo that gets displayed (always the first one if found), so you can't currently seperate the episode image from the logos. I would be easy to give it its own place so you can do whatever with it regardless of logos....but i'tll require another skin file update and I'm kinda reluctant to do that.

Is any skinner motivated to help me out with spicing up the default suplied skin files? They really pale in comparision to for instance the spinsave resolve provided file both in overall layout as well as just things like reflections and stuff. You could also try to implement more or better animations.

I would be more than glad if somebody would step up. Just attach your modified files here, or better yet create a seperate thread and show us screenshots and stuff ;-)

I found the problem.
This is the path to my icons/thumbs:
C:\Program\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Skin\TVSeries_Logos\loggos_glas\ABC.jpg
And when i make the roules i have pointed to this when pressed the browse button, but when looking at the overview of rules it is saved like \Skin\TVSeries_Logos\loggos_glas\ABC.jpg.

Its assume the icons is inside the thumbs folder.
After have placed the icons in the \tumbs\skin\ it working like a charm.

i ve been working on the skin file and i think i found a bug

I dont know if this is the way its supposed to be but

Its imposible to change the position on the y axis of the info on the right side without unticking the box in the config about ajusting the size of the info pannle to fit the all the information in.

That is something Zeflash added way back, I'll need to take a look at that. I don't really understand what it's supposed to do frankly.

brilliant work mirk. iam really impressed with the logos. where can we find those logos? HD, 5.1, widescreen and network logos?
