Lol - now mine is broken too!
I cannot get any updates - 'error getting site overview from web service' or some such
Also cannot connect to any of the listed sites :(

Sounds like the error Zorba's getting too...

The webservice is working fine and I can AutoUpdate or use the SiteManager without any problems here.

If you guys having problems would post a full set of logs someone could help you. Not that I mentioned that a thousand times...

I could speculate now and be just as helpful as four post is: Maybe your internet connections is not working?

Not sure what log it should be showing up in, but from mediaportal itself the error I get is unable to play flv stream, then a massive url.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

It seems that my connection issue was because I had MediaPortal installed in Program Files\MediaPortal instead of Program Files\Team MediaPortal. I uninstalled MP and then reinstalled it to the default folder and now onlinevideos connects just fine. The weird thing is, I didn't have MP 1.1 Beta installed in the default directory either, but OnliveVideos worked.

I am still having a problem with the side menu not showing, though. This is a problem with Blue3wide and XFactor.

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

I have another issue with MP not showing details for the weather forecast (though it does show in the InfoService plugin).
To solve this Pascal suggested I disable the proxy setting in the FanArt handler (under scraper settings) - this seems to have fixed BOTH issues.

If you have the fanart plugin running with a proxy (this comes as default setting) try disabling it...

OffByOne - I know it gets frustrating when people ask for help and don't provide info, but I didn't actually ask for help.
I posted a quick message to say I had issues of my own until I had a chance to 'play'.
There's no need to be quite so aggressive :)
I still love you though ;)

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

I think counting the number of problem reports without logs, my post can be considered calm instead of agressive ;)

A full logfile will help the poor little coder identify what your MediaPortal does on startup, what it loads, some versions, all the things that could help point to an suggestion what is wrong. Without that, how can I tell what is different on your system compared to mine. If I had that problem with my setup as well, I'd post it, but since I have it all working I can in no way read the glass ball.

I don't want to offend anyone personally, but there are guidelines to follow if you want help. (One of these days I'm gonna count the useless posts in this thread ....)

    Advice to Offbyone,

do it like the other Mod´s: Just ignore Bugreports without Logs.

Seems like that is the only Way that Users learn... ;)

Maybe there should be a short Explanation in the first Post that Help is only possible with Logs and a Quick Guide how to gather them.

    Best regards

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

It seems the issue was down to the vmr settings, for some reason it will only work using the evr option, I'm not sure why this is!
now, the only thing that I need to know now is if there is any way to up the quality of the iplayer as it's quite poor through mediaportal, running right from the browser the quality is unmatched by any other online player.
