    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

You should run the updater chemelli. Apple trailers is no longer valid, it's iTunes Movie Trailers now, as armandp maintains it now..

Already done, but still having this msg

    The error:
"The type or namespace 'Description' could not be found"
must be from the skin xml.

I guess so as well. Let's see if Tgx can fix it...

Maybe there is still an Apple Trailers entry in your OnlineVideoSites.xml. You can delete it in Sites Tab in Onlinevideos Configuration.

    chemelli:

Try deleting OnlineVideoSites.xml from Mediaportal folder and updating OnlineVideos inside MP.
It will create a new xml file. I had some issues too, but now it's fine.

You have to use the SiteManager and add the iTunes site manually. It will not add itself using AutoUpdate, because AutoUpdate of course only updates the sites you have enabled in your local xml (which is not deleted or overwritten when installing a new version).

    offbyone, I miss something.

    Installed latest version
    Delete local xml
    Still get the error

What step I miss ? Shouldn't this be trasparent for the end user ?

Something was wrong in my system as the dll was dated 11/04. Reinstalled the 0.20 MPEI and now I get the correct dll dated 18/04 and everything works fine.

    :sorry:

    Hi,

This is a great plugin, however is anyone else having issues with BBC iPlayer and Jusin.tv? iPlayer says cannot connect to stream and Justin.tv says cannot find stream URL.

Any ideas as I would use these 2 streams the most

    Cheers,
    Colin

    Re: OnlineVideos 0.20 (18.04.2010)

I have a problem with latest SVN r633.. Mediaportal is stuck at 'Initializing window manager...' and won't start..

    Last log lines:
    Code:
    2010-05-05 20:13:26.921934 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: [OnlineVideos]Thumbnails will be stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\OnlineVideos\
    2010-05-05 20:13:27.703184 [Info.][FilterChecker(5)]: FilterChecker: Found quartz.dll from 27.11.2009 located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\quartz.dll
    2010-05-05 20:13:27.703184 [Info.][FilterChecker(5)]: FilterChecker: Version of installed quartz.dll: 6.5.2600.5908

Nothing after that.. I've attached also full MediaPortal.log if it helps..

If i remove OnlineVideos.dll and OnlineVideos directory from plugin/Windows directory, MediaPortal starts normally..

If i revert to r631, the problem also goes away.. So i suspect it's related with "Updated Codec Check for FLV to find any filter registered on the system and show the one that's going to be used due to highest Merit." commit (r632).

    Using Win XP SP3..

Edit: Confirmed, it's the change in CodecConfiguration.cs.. I added log line on first line in constructor and then just before CheckCodec(ref FLV_Splitter).. First log line goes in MediaPortal.log, second not.. So it's stuck somewhere on that part.. Will test more..

Edit2: ArrayList list = FilterHelper.GetFilters(MediaType.Stream, new Guid(MediaSubType_FLV)); is the line causing problems.. As far as i can see it's the method inside MediaPortal code.. Have you changed anything there? I'm on RC2..
