It means that I have commited a fix to the svn source repository and if you are able to compile yourself, you can do so. Othwerwise wait for the next release.

Hi!

I'm using XP SP3, MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC6, PureVisionHD (16:9) 3.9, and OnlineVideos 0.23.

Everything works great with OnlineVideos until I actually try to play a video -- the sites update and I get preview images, but the only thing that will actually play is NASA. Am I missing some prerequisites or something?

EDIT: I just remembered that the built-in web browser isn't working for me either (it gives me an error then crashes MediaPortal). Perhaps this could be the issue?

Make sure all necessary codecs are installed and working. Recommendation: SAF 4 or SAF 5

Great plugin, but often problems with sites, that no longer work, due to changes in sites and such.

Several sites are not working any longer (ver. 0.23):

Youtube
Gametrailers
Yahoo Music Videos
MTV Music Videos
SVT Play

Feature suggestions:
When adding/removing sites from your list from within MePo, there should be a indicators that states if the site is added/removed. At the moment, you have to enter the site, to see if it is added or not.

The buffering icon/text, should be more visible/informative than it is. Sometimes buffering stays long at 0% althoughit it actually is buffering.

Is it possible to add more Danish sites to Onlinevideos? I have no coding abilities myself, but will be happy to assist testing etc.

Sorry, I've been using Linux and MythTV for years and years. What is SAF? I'm pretty sure that I have FFDshow installed, but I'll double-check.

I don't like the tone of you post. This forum is not to REQUEST what you'd like but to help and talk about enhancements. Once you start paying us for your request I'll be happy to add them...

Of course it's possible to add more sites, invest time and learn how to do it instead of crying you can't!

Also don't re-report broken sites, it's been said that youtube and gametrailers are curretnly broken, MTV and Yahoo do work well but not from your country I suppose, SVT play as I also said before will be working better with 0.24, and since I'm not from sweden I can't maintain that site very well. The original creator is not around anymore it seems...

I think you are taking my post in the wrong way - I was hoping to help the developers/community by saying/confirming that some of the sites are not working any longer.

Furthermore to suggest some enhancements and new sites to add. I did not know if developers added new sites to the list, or end users have to develop these themselves.

I did not notice, that I could add RSS feeds myself. Will try to see, if I can get this to work myself. (It would be nice with a guide in the Wiki on Project Pages.)

I was not aware, that these 2 sites only are available in specific countries. It would be nice, if this information was in the error message in MePo.(if even possible?).

About the re-reported sites not working, would it be possible to add this information to the First post, for people downloading the plugin for the first time? (Maybe the autoupdate function can check for this or the site can be removed/added automatically from central place?)

Maybe some of my suggestions have already been discussed, but have not read all 176 pages of threads yet - Bare with me on that

Come on Offbyone, he's just trying to help to improve this plugin. I'm sure he agrees it's a fantastic plugin. Don't be offended so quickly

You are doing well sticking with this project so long. I feel this plugin makes MP.

I think I got a problem, I seem to only be able to play one clip before I have to restart MP to play another. Not sure if this has occurred to anyone else. just after your feedback.

I can do some Log files if you want to see more.

Ps: I think you should put your own Donate button in configure screen, I sure people appreciate you work enough to drop a few coins.
