Getting this error when trying to play videos. They all show up in MP but none of them play

I've just installed yr fantastic plug in and after flv splitter installing, all works good. Except for Gametrailers streams... Every time I try to play any video I got that error: "Unable to play ***.wmv" "audio codec:".
What's wrong?? If I download the same video from "Gametrailers" and play it by Mediaportal, all works pretty well.

i cant connect to to the graph the error comes to quick...
please check my logfiles and installed codec list attached...

Hello, here some suggestions.

For the topic starting post: a kind of a roadmap for this plugin would be nice
For the plugin: Add the posssibility to play/pause/go forward/backward
For the installer/plugin: is it possible to keep the settings (enabled/disabled) for the channels on updating (tried 0.9.0 to 0.9.1)

BTW: according to the topic starting post there are two version 0.9.0

You probably have the same problem I have with SAF. I cannot get it to play mp4 / mov streams. The following works for me:

1. Uninstall Haali
2. Reboot (yes do this, it is important)
3. Re-install Haali (as per SAF instructions) BUT disable MP4 splitting (sorry I don't know how to do this without uninstall / re-install)
4. Grab the MP4Splitter.ax filter from this thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/onlinevideos-244/codec-setup-get-all-online-videos-play-58837/

Don't run the bat file that comes with the above thread (you already have everything else installed with SAF). Just register MP4Splitter.ax. ie regsvr32 mp4splitter.ax

This is the only way I have been able to get a SAF based codec install to work with MP4 streams.

Oh, and you shouldn't need QTLite or Medialooks to play mp4 / mov. SAF (specifically the MPC-HC decoder) should handle it.

You're absolutely right Catavolt. Previous post updated. for picking that up.

Oh, and I should mention I'm working with Hoborg to fix SAF so that it will split MP4 streams with Haali. It looks like there may be some bad registry entries, possibly from old codec packs that have not removed completely that may be interfering.
