First of all, thanks for this great plugin.
I think this one should be a part of the MP install.
People who don't know about MediaPortal says "Wow" when they see what this plugin offers. Keep up the good work offbyone.
I just wanna bring a bug up. Maybe it's not the plugin itself, I dont know. I also hope it havent been mentioned to much in this thread. It´s hard to wade trough all posts and do a proper seeking .
I have testetd this on two different systems.
It´s not possible to uninstall the MPI package or upgrade it when it´s allready installed, from the MP configuration. I get the warning "Invalid Package !"
I have found a way though, trough the extensions inside MP´s settings.
There was some talk about not be able to uninstall this MPI plugin earlier in this thread but I never found anyone solving the problem.
Hope someone else have some use of my discover. Or was this sollution well known?
The strange thing is, I can install as well as uninstall the MPI on my test machine without problems.
Have you inbetween upgraded MediPortal? One thing I know, is that the MPI Installer from 1.0x is not compatible with 1.1 alpha.
I also wanted to mention that I'm not alone on this project, so I can't take all the credit ;-)
Clean system XP with all upgrades on two different computers. One new standalone and one 3 Year old Toshiba laptop.
Two times repeated this problem from clean machine on the standalone PC.
Version 1.0.2
Can it be that it's a swedish version of XP home edition? Some languish bug? Wouldn't be the first time when it comes to MS bugs.
I'm happy it worked out with settings and uninstall/install inside MP though.
