No problems here loading MP 1.36 and latest testversions MP 1.37 PreRelease with OV 2.7.0.0

It's hard to tell what is going wrong. The OV should work even without webview2 installed. YT would probably work either.
We need the logs - to see which MP version is affected. Also It will require to implement extra logging in both MP and OV.

I tried to look at the log, but the log file only has one entry about the launch of the OV plugin, and that's it, the other plugins are loaded in the background and as a result, MP waits for OV to load, and it doesn't report anything else about itself.

I've not had time to do more testing with 2.6, but at least it got past the plugin loading on the first try, so maybe it was a false solution. I'll try more after dinner and report my findings. It would be logical if the problem persists as you've suggested, as the likely issue was introduced in 2.6.

ok, lets focus on 2.7. can one of you post a watchdog log-set of a hanging MP at onlinevideos start? (with log-level set at debug)

Can you debug both MP and OV? You can find whether the problem is in load OV assembly or calling OV init.

I have a Core 2 Duo on my development machine, I'll sleep there until it starts up in the debugger. But MP was launched with Debug level, in MP log there was only:

OV file was empty.

If tomorrow I won't be busy with work, there will be electricity, there will be no missile attacks and there will be free time, and not occupy the main HTPC, I will try to reinstall OV 2.7 and check. The same situation will occur, I will form a log.
