If you have MediaPortal latest version installed, just double click the file and it will be installed... it's easy! ;)

If double clicking the mpi file doesn't work, heres the long way. In MediaPortal Config, click on Plugins
and choose the MPInstaller tab. Click install and locate the mpi file.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the great plugin. I am totally in love with it.
Noticed that OnlineVideos.xml for Youtube has been changed from the youtube.com/rss to the
google gdata.youtube.com.

Did some checking on google's site, it seems that the gdata format only supports limited
lists: top_rated, most_link, most_reported, recently_featured, top_favourites.
But the daily, weekly, mothly is not yet defined in gdata, so I guess youtube.com/rss has
to be used for those lists.

Tip: to get more results searching on youtube try using this:

http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?max-results=50&racy=include&vq={0}

Also I added MSNBC, but never can get the video playing, is it not FLV?

I've just finished installing MediaPortal on a clean-installed system (I had it running before on an old install of XP) but Online Videos won't display video on the screen. I get audio OK and the rotating green 'working' graphic, but the list of videos stays up instead of the video box. Also I have no control over playback, pause/stop etc don't have any effect.

Interestingly, if I return back to the home screen while the playback continues, and then click on the "play tv in background" icon at the top, then the video IS displayed, but in a tiny icon-sized box in the top left of the screen - but only for as long as the 'No Video/TV playing' warning pop-up is displayed. If I click OK on the pop-up, both it and the video playback mini-window disappears, although audio continues.

Something wierd going on here. Any clues?

Also, is it possible to download the older version of the plugin and install that in the new version's place (just to see if that has any effect)?

Thanks...
-Mark
