If anyone has gotten this working 100% please let us know what svn your using and what configuration you have setup.

as of right now:

all flv video sites (youtube, google, etc) play fine. the only problem is i can watch one video and be able to stop it but after that i have to watch the whole video.

apple trailers play sound but no audio, i have the mplayer, mplayer plugin and the codecs for mplayer installed.

edit: ok i figured out that mplayer is working fine as are apple trailers. they play with audio and video if i move to my second monitor.... now to figure out why tv works on adapter 1 but videos dont.

Are you using .30 or .31?

Are you using MPlayer for everything? Internal or external?

My Apple trailers are still broken, google and youtube work sparingly now.

I did a fresh install of MP 0.2.3.0 and OV .30...Again

I'm using .31, i've checked the option to use MPlayer in all sites. GameTrailers doesn't work (it waits a moment, and then screen returns to videos list), there is no sound in Apple trailers, stage6 also doesn't work...

i'm only using mplayer for apple trailers internally.

after doing some testing i found out that i can only watch tv on my primary monitor, all other types of video only work on my secondary monitor.

My gametrailers does the same thing, stage6 i will get audio after about 4-5 minutes of loading but no video. Exiting out of MP after these crashes causes a system hangup.

Where is the checkbox to use Mplayer in all sites? My google and youtube work fine, it seems that anything using mplayer ISNT working for me...

sorry for double post, but since this has nothing to do with my other post i put it separately.

i was looking over the gametrailers section to try and figure out why it nothing would play from there and discovered its simply because the links are wrong the the files.

looking over the error log after trying to play a trailer from game trailers i found this:

2008-01-14 20:45:48.580640 [ERROR][MPMain]: BASS: Unable to play http://trailers.gametrailers.com /gt_vault/ t_highlander.wmv. Reason: BASS_ERROR_HANDLE.

using the handy little video download plugin for fire fox i went to the site and got the download link for the embeded video:

http://trailers.gametrailers.com /gt_vault/6058/ t_highlander.wmv

after looking over the xml in the rss feed for this trailer the missing numbers are the gameID:

<exInfo:movieTitle>Trailer</exInfo:movieTitle>

<exInfo:gameID>6058</exInfo:gameID>
<exInfo:gameURL>http://www.gametrailers.com/game/6058.html</exInfo:gameURL>

I checked this against every video in the new pc category and it worked every time.

So chaning the grabber for this shouln't be that much of a problem and should fix the game trailers section of this plugin.

Thanks Feral. I'll get it fixed and release it with the next version.

I noticed many of you are having problems with stage6 and appletraillers. I noticed that on some categories in stage6 don't play for example "music videos" but the videos in the "highest Rated" category work ok with mplayer. Can some of you post the log entries?
Can you also search for "<entry name="useMplayer">yes</entry>" in your mediaportal.xml?

Does anyone have skin files for Monochrome? Whenever I try and access the plugin I just get icons that don't have text with them.

You can use onlinevideos.xml from my skin that works fine with latest release of this plugin...
