I'm using X-face - i've installed and configured this using the mpi file, but can't access it through the x-face skin - an ideas?

I've installed the plug in from scratch with the provided mpi.

Youtube, Apple trailers plays smoothly but stage6 videos not.

When you click any video from stage6 , MP loading circle keeps turning middle of the screen and disappears

should I download and install divx webplayer ?

gametrailers is also not working , it shows black screen quite some time afterwards auido comes but not video.

Are ffdshow , haali , Mplayer , flvplayer , QT Alternative enough to play any listed videos on online videos.

for people that are having trouble with stage6 and other sites go to the mplayer plugin config and follow the directions for the .mov extension but do it for .wmv and .divx this fixed it for me.

I upgraded from version .3 to 0.32 yesterday. youtube etc works for me, but I don't get any thumbs. the older 0.30 did show thumbnails.

anyone else having this problem?

MPlayer is not really Vista compatible...
VideoLAN plugin should be used in Vista.

I'm sorry but it's just getting really confusing with all these plugins like VideoLAN, MPlayer, OnlineVideos, MyPodcasts, MyRadio, etc. ...

1. Is it possible to use the VideoLAN plugin ONLY for the OnlineVideos plugin?
2. What do I have to do to keep using ffdshow for all my H264 files, NVIDIA Purevideo for MPEG2 files (movie players section in Configuration) and the Xvid codec for Xvid and DivX files?
3. Is it possible to add the 3 streaming NASA tv channels (NASA - NASA TV) to OnlineVideos (it does not work in My Radio to add these streams... or can someone make this stream work in MyRadio?)?
4. Is it possible to add other videosites/ streams/ podcasts or vodcasts to OnlineVideos?
5. It would be great if there was a field in MP for this plugin, where one can copy/paste a streaming adress to watch! Or is it already possible with some other plugin to watch streaming internet video?

Not working for me!

I am having the same problem the people in this thread have:

- wait cursor starts and then after a while stops but nothing happens
- in some streams i hear some noise, but still no streaming.

Is this problem common to other people?

I read in this thread that a lot of people use MPlayer with this plugin, is this the only way to have it working?

I'm running mediaportal 0.2.3.0 with latest version of OnlineVideos (.mpi installer) and built in default player.
