Maybe the thumbnails google video creates could be used to...as Icons?

ok no missing file anymore and I can now see the feed list and also acess individual files, but they don't play hmmm.

Make sure you enabled the FlvPlayer in the configuration under plugins.
Make sure you have a new version of Macromedia flash installed.

Yes, I agree -- this step was vaguely alluded to at best. I understood Flash player was necessary, but didn't realize I needed to enable another MP plugin.
