When I press 'shift + 1' to bring up information on frames per second etc, I notice that on the 720p channels I'm only getting 37.5fps. 1080i channels play at a nice smooth 50fps. I cleared all logs, started MediaPortal, entered MyTV, went fullscreen on a 1080i channel. I pressed 'shift + 1' and got 50fps; I changed to 720p channel and dropped to 37.5fps; changed back to 1080i channel and went back to 50fps. I exited MyTV, closed MediaPortal, and collected and attached logs. Would really appreciate someone looking into this and seeing what is going on - I'm not the only one this is happening to, as seen in this post. I also noticed these lines in my MediaPortal.log - 2008-08-10 14:32:43.828125 [Debug][MPMain]: VMR9: SetDeinterlaceMode - FormatType = VideoInfo2 2008-08-10 14:32:43.828125 [Debug][MPMain]: VMR9: SetDeinterlaceMode - Interlaced frame detected 2008-08-10 14:32:43.828125 [Info.][MPMain]: VMR9: No H/W de-interlaced modes supported, using fallback preference Does this mean my 1080i channels are not being de-interlaced? Cheers, Trav.
